One of the best lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm. Calm is a super power.

Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.

You become what you surround yourself with. Energies are contagious. Choose carefully. Your environment will become you.

Be More Selfish If you’re a giver, always looking out for others, always feeling drained because you break yourself so others can stay together, take a break from it. Add value to your own life first. Add self-love and peace to your life first.

It’s okay to pour your heart out into other people; however, self-love teaches you that even the biggest giver still needs it to come back.

Fall in love with taking care of yourself. Fall in love with the path of deep healing. Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself but with patience, with compassion, and respect to your own journey.

Be mindful, extremely selective, and very intentional about the people you allow into your life. Not enough people are talking about how life-altering this is.

Stay in the Moment The practice of staying present will heal you. Obsessing about how the future will turn out creates anxiety. Replaying broken scenarios from the past causes anger or sadness. Stay here, in this moment.

Unfollow and mute accounts that give you negative energy and play with your emotions. Your online experience is important now. Everyone is fighting for your time and attention. Use these tools wisely. Use them to connect, to be inspired, to have fun with healthy boundaries. Remove yourself from the drama and darkness.

If a train goes too fast, it could easily derail. Don’t assume you need to give up when you run into problems. Sometimes you’re just going too fast, or you want it to happen too quickly. Slow down. Allow things to play out slower, without force, without control.
